At Big State Custom Homes we pride ourselves on being versatile. A few home qualities tend to stand out with us though and we love some of the designs we have accomplished on our latest custom homes.

Rustic Modern Farmhouse Ranch style Traditional

Rustic

This style is very broad and actually many different design styles fall into the term “rustic”. To us rustic describes a natural, rough, aged, and casual look. This would include looks such as Tuscan, coastal, cottage and lodge.

Modern Farmhouse

If you are looking for a contemporary feel that provides sleek clean lines combined with a cozy farmhouse aesthetic, then the Modern Farmhouse style might be for you. This style is a unique take on country living and provides warmth with it’s natural textures such as wood and galvanized steel.

Ranch Style

This style is typically one-story, however we can also do a raised or split level design to accomplish this look. Traditionally this type of style is long in shape and often times is an L or U shape. The outside of these homes range from very modest family homes to luxury estates.

Traditional

Traditional homes maintain interior features such as detailed millwork, and the colors are calm and soothing. Marble and high quality stone floors along with large fireplaces typically go with this style. Symmetrical lines provide the ability to be very versatile within the decor elements of this style.
